About
MISSION STATEMENT
Our lab mission is to conduct innovative and rigorous research on the origins and development of human cooperation and morality, using insights from social and developmental psychology to explore how social and moral thinking is shaped across cultures and lifespan.
LAB VALUES
We expect Moral Minds Lab members to...
- Show respect for all participants, including children, their parents and their teachers; for zoo/museum staff and visitors; for each other; for the data integrity and scientific process in general.
- Communicate well. Be clear and accessible. Ask questions when you are confused or unsure! Keep others posted on what you’ve been up to. Did you make a mistake? You’re human; that happens– don’t make a second, bigger mistake by keeping quiet. Report it to the lab manager and project lead as soon as possible!
- Follow protocols. Always adhere to lab protocols and supervisor instructions to the best of your ability. Whether it comes to recruiting, data collection, data analysis, or using lab resources, the protocols we have in place are meant to prevent problems and make things easier for everyone.
- Data management is the most important part of your job. We take this VERY SERIOUSLY. Strict adherence to protocols is the only way for a lab to function properly.
