As an MSU undergraduate
We are currently actively recruiting undergraduate research assistants (RAs) for Fall 2025! RAs may work on recruiting and contacting families via email to participate in studies, running studies on Zoom, in lab, and at the museum, creating surveys and making study stimuli, coding videos, conducting literature reviews, analyzing data, and communicating results. If you have any questions or would like to submit an application, please fill out this form. Typically, RA hiring takes place prior to the beginning of a new semester. |
This could be you!

As a lab manager
The Moral Minds Lab will be hiring a lab manager for 2025-2026 academic year. More details will be shared soon.
As a graduate student
I will be considering applications for PhD students this upcoming cycle. Applications are usually due Dec 1.
More details on how to apply to the Michigan State University Psychology graduate program can be found here.
When recruiting PhD students, I am looking for students who share my interests and are ready to take the leap to begin their own research program, with lots of support from me.
I typically do not meet with applicants prior to reading their applications. I do sometimes respond to queries over email, but please understand that I receive many messages like this per week during peak season and cannot respond to the majority of them.
As a postdoc
If you’re interested in joining the lab as a postdoc, please email me the following: your CV, your expected graduation date, a brief statement of your research interests, and a few ideas for potential projects. I am open to working with you on a fellowship grant application (e.g., National Science Foundation (NSF) SBE Postdoctoral Fellowship, National Institutes of Health (NIH) NRSA Postdoctoral Fellowship, or equivalent).
As a non-MSU undergraduate
The lab does not currently have any opportunities for non-MSU undergraduates to get involved in research. At this time, we are only recruiting MSU undergraduates.
As a high school student
The lab does not currently have any opportunities for high school students to get involved in research.
